MISS CONFIDENT

Filling The Confidence Gap

THE STORY OF MISS CONFIDENT

Miss Confident dug its roots as an inclusive service for women with intellectual and developmental disabilities & has now expanded to offer services to all young women. Established in 2020, and based in the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts, Miss Confident is dedicated to building confidence through opportunity and peer socialization. Here, we are committed to teaching skills including but not limited to public speaking, self-advocacy, & positive body image. Partnerships include human service agencies across the state to maximize opportunities for participants. We are honored to help countless women reach sustainable positive change.

How It's Done & Who It's For?

Confidence is a muscle. The more you work it, the stronger it becomes and practice makes progress. We combine opportunity, peer socialization, and outcome planning to improve self-assurance. Services are offered 1:1 or in a group setting of no more than 8 participants to maximize outcomes. Miss Confident is for any woman seeking self-improvement mentorship. We take pride in being an inclusive program. Services are currently offered virtually & in-person (dependent upon location).

Professionally Kylee holds a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis and is a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Personally, she is a three-time pageant title holder, care provider, and dog owner. "When designing & creating Miss Confident, I had this vision to bridge my experience of pageantry, my own fear of public speaking, and human services. During my time competing for Miss New Hampshire and previous supervisor at a Day-Habilitation Center, I witnessed a lack of functional services for women with ID & DD,  & I needed to change that." Confidence is a skill taught through opportunities & experience. This platform was created for those who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

"Miss Confident is fun and we are always laughing."
